untitled (erosion)
A series of 4x5 large format photographs chronicling the aggregation of my dead skin as it builds up in my bathtub over the course of three months, leaving the subsequent raw surface of my body exposed through this process to regenerate and repeat the cyclical current. The abstraction of my discarded physicality reinforces that the self is in constant flux, and questions how much material from the body is necessary in creating a self portrait.
